Blighty Boutique Vintage & Handmade Fair ~ This Sunday!

Hi all, I will be at the Blighty Boutique Vintage & Handmade Fair this sunday - 5th May! We will have our usual fabulous vintage style tea room serving tea and cake on vintage china!

I am really looking forward to meeting Vix of Vintage Vixon Blogspot! Vix will have a stall selling some of her fabulous vintage clothes! Cannot wait to meet her although I do confess to being a bit nervous and starstruck, she is just so bloody glamorous! lol!

If you do decide to come along there are a fair few other Blogging Babes selling their wares on the day too! Please do stop by and say hello to me, just ask someone to point you in my direction as I would love to meet you!

I have sorted through 5 bin bags full of vintage Laura Ashley fabric and curtains and I am 'letting go' of it all, I have hoarded it for years in the hope of having some kind of making craze but to be honest I have sooooo much that if I created every day I would still struggle to get through it all!

Painting the Town Red???

OMFG! Just put a bright red colour on my hair thinking it would give me some subtle reddish tone, forgot about all my highlights and I swear not a word of a lie, it looks like I have had it done for red nose day! Me thinks I will be washing my hair at least 150 times tonight! signed Cocoa the Friggin' Shocked of Hatton Park!

Cannot possibly post a picture as it will blow your screen but suffice to say it is not dissimilar to Ronald McBloody Donald BUT even redder! 

A Big Hello!

Hello lovelies! Just a quick wave to say I am alive and kicking! Hoping to restart my blogging this moth. I have really missed you all!

December Monthly Makers..

...thank you for all those who are still with us for the monthly make. As you know it has been a pretty hard year for me and my lovely friend Lisa of Kandipandi Blog  stepped in and helped me out more than I could ever have aked! She really is a great woman and I will be eternally grateful to her. It has not been an easy job for her as she is already up to her eyes with the demands of family, work and crafting and has very little spare time to take on such a massive favour- thank you so much darling! For all those who want to end the year with a bang here is the Flickr December Group!

I was meant to be Miss December but to be honest I have nothing of myself to give and darling Lisa has agreed to finish off the year for me. I will not be doing a Monthly Make for 2013 and Lisa is far too busy to commit so if anyone fancies it please feel free!

I am still hoping to get back to blogging but at the moment I just cannot face it. I have a hospital appoinment in early December with the breast unit which I i hoping will be my last! I will thenbe at my daughter Amy's Blighty Boutique Vintage & Handmade Fair  on Sunday 9th December and I will then be going away for a much needed break.

Monthly Makes For October Slowly Moves Towards November!

Hello girlies! still feeling a bit unwell and not up to posting! I really want to get back to blogging but just feel empty and flat at the moment! Thank you for sticking with me, I really do appreciate all of the wonderful support I have received from you all - it has really got me through some of the very low times x

I will be 50 on the 12th of November and really hope to post before that date. I am having a big party which if I am honest is really to celebrate my recovery from Breast Cancer. I hope to share some of my piccies with you all.

I am Miss December so I will need to get my act together before then anyway - it will do me good although it will be a hard task to follow from the 11 Monthly misses that will have preceded me!

MONTHLY MAKE FOR NOVEMBER

I am continuing to do the monthly make as I have such an amazing support team with the hostesses of the month. This month Joy has done a sterling job. There is still time to post your October makes HERE. Joy is a fabulous maker herself, her blog is well worth a long visit. All of the monthly makes have been overseen by my dearest friend Kandi . Without Lisa's support I do not know what I would have done!

Miss November is Sian from High in The Sky,  Sian is an amazing scrapbooker and her layouts leave me in awe. I love scrapbooking and plan to do more in the new year. Go and spend time at her blog, you will love it!

Another Month and Another Monthly Make!

I am sorry to still not be around at the moment but unfortunately my recovery is taking far longer than I had anticipated!

I am so grateful to everyone who has rallied around and kept the home fires burning. My lovely friend Lisa of Kandi pandi has been a real stalwart in supporting the Monthly Misses as they hosted their month.

Thank you for all your lovely messages. I really hope to be back on my feet very soon. If I am honest I am just not feeling up to very much at the moment. I really miss blogging but at the same time really struggle to think of anything interesting to say - my mind is blog dead! I think it has been a real roller coaster of a 3 months and it will take time to heal my mind.

Monthly Makes & Another Op!

Hi all you lovelies, just a quickie to say that I need to go in to hospital for another op but hope to be back to blogging mid September!

I would like to say a huge thank you to everyone who has continued with the Monthly Makes, and in particular the Monthly Misses! Of course a biggest thank yo goes out to my lovely friend Kandipandi who has stepped in as headmistress! Thank you everyone one, under the steering of these wonderful women our ship has not sunk!!

The gorgeous Linda is Miss August, and what a fab miss she has been! Did you see the picture she posted of her in an insy winsy bikini wearing her sash????? I bet she has taken the photo down now!!! ;-D
